Russia behind 200 computer attacks on Ukraine

Groups linked to the Russian state have carried out more than 200 computer attacks on Ukraine and its infrastructure since the Russian army began its invasion, according to a Microsoft report released on Wednesday.

These attacks “have not only damaged institutional systems in Ukraine, but also aimed to disrupt popular access to reliable information and essential services on which civilians depend, and attempted to destroy trust in the country’s leadership to undermine,” said Tom Burt. London demands heavy weapons in Ukraine

British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss on Wednesday called for increased shipments of heavy weapons and aircraft to Ukraine, stressing that the time had come for “courage” towards Russia.

“Heavy weapons, tanks, planes – dig into our stocks, ramp up production, we have to do all of that,” she insisted, calling Vladimir Putin “a desperate rogue operator who has no interest in international mores” – in a speech in the official Residence of the Lord Mayor of the City of London.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin again warned against outside intervention in the conflict in Ukraine and promised a “quick and lightning-fast” response.

Canadian parliament condemns “genocide” against Ukrainians
