Caracas, Venezuela. – The Executive Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty, ALBA-TCP, Félix Plasencia, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Yván Gil, reviewed in Caracas the progress and challenges facing the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Officials charted a path of work based on solidarity, complementarity and the unbreakable fraternity that unites us, the head of Bolivarian diplomacy wrote on his Twitter account.

Plasencia, who had served as Caracas’ ambassador to Bogotá, assumed his new responsibilities as full-time executive director of ALBA-TCP this week.
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro indicated that missions to be heavily promoted by Plasencia will include restoring Petrocaribe and strengthening social, educational, cultural and health plans.
