A 13-year-old Utah boy was strangled by the rope from his Spiroball game after it accidentally wrapped around his neck.
According to Fox 13, Maximus Knight was reported missing Saturday after cleaning up the corn maze and pumpkin patch on his family’s land.
His family found him shortly afterwards with the rope from his spiroball game around his neck. He was no longer breathing and his pulse was no longer there.

Maximus was taken to hospital where he was unfortunately pronounced dead.
The investigation into the exact cause of the boy’s death is still ongoing. However, according to Sheriff Nathan Curtis, there were no signs of suspicious activity during the incident.
“Maximus was a beautiful, kind and loving child who brought so much happiness to his family and community,” his aunt Laurie Ann Thor wrote on a GoFundMe page.
“Maximus was the youngest in his family, which pushed him to do his best to impress his older brothers while caring for others. Our hearts are broken and we will forever mourn his death,” she wrote.
“We are touched by the support shown to the family and would like to thank the people who took the time to message and donate. We have closed the fundraising page and will assess the family’s needs,” Ms. Thor added after raising $25,000.
