A 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death at Jacques Rousseau High School early Monday afternoon.
The event took place towards the end of the dinner in front of the main entrance of the place on Boulevard de Gentilly Est.

According to our information, the young victim was attacked with a Swiss knife, the blade of which is only a few centimeters long.
The teenager was stabbed twice in the stomach. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries. His parents were informed of the situation.

A few minutes after the attack, the police arrested a young minor not far from the school. He will be questioned by investigators in the next few hours.
A security perimeter was set up in front of the secondary school to protect potential evidence. In the afternoon, witnesses should also be questioned by the police.

The circumstances of this armed attack remain unknown.
Authorities have not clarified whether the suspect and victim are students at the school.
