A 17-year-old is in critical condition after being stabbed in Montreal North on Saturday morning.
Around 4 a.m. Saturday, 911 was called about a man with a stab wound on Gervais Street near Industrial Boulevard in the North Sector of Montreal.
The victim, a 17-year-old man, was found with injuries to the upper body by officers from the Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM). She was immediately rushed to the hospital center where her condition is considered critical and fears for her life exist, SPVM agent Jean-Pierre Brabant said.
According to initial information, there would have been an argument and the minor would have sustained at least one stab wound.
A security perimeter was set up on Avenue Gervais between Boulevard Industriel and Rue Charleroi. Investigators and forensic identification specialists are on site to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
