A Florida woman was arrested after she allegedly raped her husband's autistic younger brother and gave birth to his child.

Authorities say Amanda Rose Brooks, 34, became pregnant with her victim's child after raping her and then falsely claimed she was the victim.

U.S. Marshalls in Orlando arrested Brooks earlier this month on a sexual battery warrant that was investigated by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

Brooks was charged with sexual assault of a person with a developmental disability over the age of 18, providing false information to law enforcement and filing a false report.

According to The Keys Citizen, the alleged assault occurred in 2022 but began in 2010 in Mississippi.

In an arrest warrant obtained by the medium, Brooks is said to have contacted the Monroe County Sheriff's Office and reported that she had been sexually abused by her husband and his younger brother.

Brooks is said to have handed over a list of events that occurred between February and April last year.

She allegedly told authorities that she was “coerced and coerced” into sexual activity and was “verbally and psychologically abused” at her Key Haven home.

Brooks and her husband were his brother's sole caregivers, she told investigators.

Because of that, Brooks and her children left the Keys for Orlando and filed a statement with police there, who sent it back to Monroe County.

Brooks also turned over emails and screenshots of messages with friends in which she portrayed herself as a “victim of abuse” by her husband's family, who she claimed harassed her after she left with her children.

In July 2022, her brother-in-law's mother contacted police and said her son was the victim in the case and that Brooks was the one who allegedly raped him.

It was alleged that Brooks entered his room several times and sexually assaulted him – an act that police said had been routine for a decade.

Her brother-in-law is said to have frequently objected and repeatedly told her that “we shouldn’t do this.”

The victim told police that Brooks told him to “keep quiet,” “not tell anyone,” and that “it was OK because it made her feel good.”

Brooks' husband denied having sexual relations with her during that period, but told investigators that she owned an ovulation tracker.

In September last year, officers were told that Brooks was one month pregnant and gave birth to the child in January this year.

Florida law enforcement conducted DNA testing on the victim and Brooks' child and confirmed that the victim was the biological father.

Officials say they were unable to find any evidence to support Brooks' recollection of the events, so she was arrested on Dec. 10.

According to arrest records, Brooks is currently being held in the Monroe County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
