According to a source close to the singer, senior music industry officials are trying to get Britney Spears back into the recording studio for a new album.
“Right now management and A&R are trying to get her excited about the music,” the source told Rolling Stone on Wednesday. “At the moment she is not actively taking part in recordings, but they are getting it [songs] done to present it to her.'
