Shocking violence ensued when San Francisco 49ers fans began fighting among themselves during Saturday’s preseason win over the Broncos.
A supporter was covered in blood and stunned after being knocked to the ground while about a dozen fans fought in the stands at Levi’s Stadium.
The 49ers defeated the Broncos 21-20 in their second preseason game ahead of the 2023 season, which begins next month.
However, many eyes at the stadium were more interested in what was happening off the pitch when a scuffle broke out among the home fans.
A small number of security forces tried in vain to halve the violence, beatings in the aisles and between seats.

Several women tried to ask the fighters to stop, while a young supporter was being dragged to safety when two men clashed near his seat.
One of these men was thrown to the ground, but his attacker kept hitting him until security forces dragged him away.
Many eyewitnesses watched on their camera phones as the other man was pulled off the ground.
He was so dazed and unsteady on his feet that he had to be held up. His t-shirt was torn and blood was pouring out of his mouth.
The dazed fan was eventually led up the stairs while other fans looked on with a mixture of shock and amusement. Meanwhile, the action on the field continued.
Security personnel attempt to intervene as beatings erupt in the stands at Levi’s Stadium
Brock Purdy and Russell Wilson led their teams to field goals on their only drives of the game, and San Francisco defeated Denver on the final play with a field goal from rookie Jake Moody.
Moody, who was drafted in the third round, bounced back after missing two field goals and an extra point early in the game last week to convert the 32-yarder after Trey Lance drove the Niners across the field in the closing minutes .
Lance overcame an interception on his first drive and threw a 22-yard TD pass to Cameron Latu and then two big passes to Ronnie Bell to set up the kick.
Lance finished the game with 12 for 18 and 173 yards. Purdy got his first game since injuring his elbow in the NFC title game loss in Philadelphia. San Francisco improved to 1-1 and Denver fell to 0-2.
