Yes, this sacred spot could be trampled upon by revelers at the controversial course that has divided the world of professional golf for nearly a year.
The commissioner told NewsCorp at the tournament in Orlando last weekend.
Prompted to respond to that statement, Cameron Smith replied that he had not received the memo about the meeting on the subject.
But he did mention that a win signed by a LIV golfer would silence rumors that the competition at his circuit was less fierce.
The Australian is also hoping he and his teammates can win the peloton.
Five of the 18 representatives of the circuit financed by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia won the green jacket. Phil Mickelson (2004–2006 and 2010), Bubba Watson (2012–2014), Sergio Garcia (2017), Patrick Reed (2018) and Dustin Johnson (2020) are the winners who have donned it.
