The Canadiens held a sober ceremony on Saturday evening during the first home game of the 2023-2024 season to highlight the unity of the Montreal team.
However, the whole thing was a bit disjointed and several team fans and journalists expressed their skepticism on social media after the ceremony.
It can be seen in the main video.
My only comment on the presentation….
Normal
THE @RocketLaval 10/10@CanadiensMTL 4/10
To the rocket 10,000 bracelets that make light
At #CH 200 people with their cell phone lights… 🤷🏻♂️#Come on man!!
Good match!!

I recommend the person responsible for the game presentation #CH to take a trip to Vegas in anticipation of the 2024 inaugural game.
I say the same thing.
No surprises, a pretty boring ceremony.
