On Tuesday evening many of them dressed up for the Halloween party. This was particularly true for the son of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The latter also wanted to immortalize the moment by sharing a picture of his child dressed up.
But not everyone liked his costume. For the occasion, 9-year-old Hadrien Trudeau wore a special costume that simulated his own beheading. “There seems to be something wrong with Hadrian. It won’t stop him from celebrating Halloween,” Justin Trudeau commented on X (formerly Twitter).
Apart from the fact that for many Internet users, and given the role of the father of the family, the disguise works poorly in the context of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, in which acts of beheading are reported. There was then criticism on social networks.
“He’s completely disconnected from reality,” says political blogger Tyler Popp. For her part, television personality Saba Khan commented: “Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has decided to publish a photo of himself with his son dressed as a beheaded child. This is the stupidest thing he could have done at a time when children are being beheaded in Palestine. Why show up knowing what’s happening?”
