You could say that former NHL player Mike Commodore has a sense of humor. In fact, on Monday evening he dressed up as Mike Babcock, the former coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Commodore used the game between the Dallas Stars and the Jackets to wear his costume. And he sat right behind the Ohio bench.
To the delight of his fans, the former defender posted his adventures in Section 118 at the American Airlines Center on X (formerly Twitter).
Babcock was supposed to be the Jackets’ pilot this season, but was fired after allegations that he had violated the privacy of his former players. He was replaced by Pascal Vincent.
See for yourself.
