A crowdfunding campaign for Donald Trump

A Donald Trump supporter launched a crowdfunding campaign on the GoFundMe platform to help her pay nearly $355 million in financial fraud fines.

A New York court on Friday ordered Donald Trump to pay $354.86 million for fraud within his real estate empire, the Trump Organization.

A few hours after the verdict, a Florida woman, Elena Cardone, started the crowdfunding campaign. She wrote that she “passionately supports American values.”

“The recent litigation he is facing is not just an attack on him, but an attack on the ideals of fairness that all Americans deserve,” the GoFundMe page says.

According to the head of the crowdfunding campaign, the goal of the ruling is to “silence a voice that has been on the front lines defending the strength, prosperity, and security of the United States.”

The crowdfunding campaign raised more than $100,000 in one day. The goal is $355 million.

Recall that New York State Attorney General Letitia James demanded $370 million from Donald Trump, his two adult sons Donald Jr. and Eric Trump and their family group. They “overvalued the assets” of the group by “812 million.” [à] $2.2 billion,” the judge said.
