Everyone wants to attend Metallica shows… even a dog, who decided to run away from his house to attend the metal band’s show and found a place among the admirers during the Aug. 25 concert.
“You may have heard that a four-legged fan joined us for #M72LA,” Metallica wrote on their X account (formerly Twitter), clearly amused by the situation.
And it appears Storm enjoyed the show from his seat at SoFi Stadium, a photo shared by the group.
If people initially thought the dog had been abandoned, the story was completely different. Storm, who lived a few blocks from the venue in Inglewood, had simply left her owners’ house and decided to go to the show.
“She’s apparently a big Metallica fan and decided to go away to attend the concert!” Storm’s owner joked to the San Francisco Chronicle. “We laughed so much when we saw that she was sitting in a real seat at the concert.”
“[Storm] We had a lot of fun listening to their favorite songs, including “Barx Æterna,” “Master of Puppies” and “The Mailman That Never Comes,” Metallica joked, putting a canine twist on some of their biggest hits.
“You should definitely not take your furry friends with you to the #M72 World Tour. But that dog really had his day…” the group remarked.
