Quebec's Mavrik Bourque had an exceptional night in the American League on Tuesday, scoring four goals for the Texas Stars.

The Plessisville native scored his first hat trick in regulation time against the Grand Rapids Griffins before giving his team the win in overtime with his fourth goal of the game.

Bourque has had an excellent start to the season with the Dallas Stars farm club. The former Shawinigan Cataracts sits atop the American League scoring charts with 36 points in 25 games.

The 22-year-old striker is still hoping to be recalled from the big club to play his first game on the Bettman circuit. With performances like these, the long-awaited call shouldn't be long in coming!
