Quarterback Lamar Jackson shined in the Ravens' convincing 56:19 win in Baltimore against the Miami Dolphins.
Jackson completed 18 of his 21 pass attempts, giving him 321 passing yards. The star center threw five touchdown passes and added an additional 35 yards on the ground.
He also finished the game with a perfect efficiency rating of 158.3 for the third time in his career.
After the game, Roquan Smith had good words for Jackson.
[En le voyant sur le terrain]“I felt like a kid at the movies, except I didn’t have popcorn,” he said, smiling. It’s good to see him go, he’s a warrior.”
Receiver Zay Flowers stunned the visitors with a 75-yard touchdown run with less than three minutes left in the first half. The Ravens never looked back after that.
Tight end Isaiah Likely also shined with two majors in the win.
In Dolphins camp, running back De'Von Achane was one of the few to have a solid performance. He had 107 yards on 14 carries. His teammate Tua Tagovailoa, for his part, achieved 237 passing yards, he also threw two touchdown passes and just as many interceptions.
The Ravens' win gives them a record of 13-3. This therefore ensures that Maryland will finish in first place in the American Association and thus receive a bye week in the first round of the playoffs.
