Charlotte Cardin gives her admirers a gift this Friday: her song confetti whose verses were translated into French.
The 28-year-old singer-songwriter shared the listening link for the song Confetti in French on her Instagram account this morning.
Even though it’s a French version, the chorus stayed in English.
“There’s always too much noise or too much silence, the more people there are, the greater the emptiness, I don’t want to stay anymore, I want to go back, I want to stay, I want to go back, but who knows?” sings the former candidate for La Voix in this hymn to introverts.
“And I’m crying in my head, I never have the heart to celebrate, I don’t want to stay anymore, I want back, I want to stay, I want back, I’m tired of playing, I want to drop it all.”

The artist announced this surprise on his Instagram account yesterday. She also shared a short video with her 434,000 followers singing one of the French verses on her platform last week.
It is not yet known if this version of Confetti will end up on Charlotte Cardin’s new album 99 Nights. This second work will be released next August.
We also hear Charlotte Cardin’s voice in the latest song – in French – by her lover, the musician and actor Aliocha Schneider. The coin, named Before She, was launched earlier this week.
