This was announced by the American university circle on Wednesday.

However, the 19-year-old defenseman can take solace with the title of best rookie in his league being awarded to him. In his freshman season at Boston University, the left-hander had 12 goals and 32 assists for 44 points while posting a +23 rating in 34 games.

That year, CH’s second-round pick (62nd overall) in 2022 also represented his country at the recent World Junior Championship, recording one goal and three assists in seven games. The USA also took the bronze medal.

Back to Levi: The Montreal native was furious in front of the Northeastern Huskies’ cage. In 34 games, he compiled a 17-12-5 record, a .933 save percentage and a 2.24 clean sheet average.

Levi was selected in the seventh round of the 2020 draft by the Florida Panthers and made his way to the Buffalo Sabers organization the following year to trade Sam Reinhart.

The other contender for MVP was Merrimack College Warriors forward Alex Jefferies, a 2020 fourth-round pick by the New York Islanders.
