A first touchdown pass for CJ Stroud

The second overall pick of the last NFL draft, quarterback CJ Stroud, threw his first touchdown pass in the Goodell homer.

On Sunday evening, the Houston Texans hopeful helped his team win 17-13 in a preseason game against the New Orleans Saints.

Stroud started the game and found the offensive zone for his team in the second session. He joined wide receiver Nico Collins from three yards for a touchdown.

The 21-year-old Pivot finished his game with two passes on four tries for 16 yards. In three preseason games, he completed 11 of 20 stints for 89 yards. He was also the victim of a wiretapping operation.

With the Saints, tight end Jimmy Graham caught a three-yard pass for a major. It’s a happy ending for the man who was arrested by police eight days ago. The veteran was handcuffed after wandering around in traffic following a medical incident.

The Saints went on to explain that he suffered what appeared to be an epileptic seizure.

This game was the last in the preparation calendar. The NFL regular season begins on Thursday, September 7th with a match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions.
