A guy asks for a McMuffin sausage to order at McDonald’s Drive-Thru and finds thousands of dollars in his pocket

An American TikToker on Tuesday opened up about the mishap that happened to him while going to lunch at a branch of the popular chain.

Josiah Vargas (@dookiedoeboy on TikTok) had a funny moment earlier this week when he stopped by McDo to buy a Sausage McMuffin.

In addition to a breakfast sandwich, the young man received an unexpected small bonus at the drive-thru: a few thousand dollars in cash.

He posted the incident’s account on TikTok and his video went viral and has been viewed more than a million times.

In the pictures, he can be seen in his car, stunned to discover ziplock bags full of banknotes.

“It’s your deposit! There are thousands of dollars!” he exclaims, showing the bags. “Why? Why are they doing this? Now I have to give them back because I’m a good person.”

We then see him return to the restaurant with his bag and say to the cashiers, “Coudonc, do you launder money?”

“Oh dear God! We want to hug you,” responds one of the employees promptly, relieved that the sum is safe.

“I made it short. They hugged me very much and thanked me crying,” the TikTokeur states afterwards, stating that he received free McDo for a month as a reward!

At the end of the video, he adds that he was offered an additional $200 when he left.

“Do good, folks! Return $5,000 and get $200 and McDonalds for a month. What an exchange! And maybe a viral TikTok!” he concluded.

It is obvious that the return of the money was correct: finding the “thief” with the help of the surveillance cameras would not have been complicated and Vargas would have gotten into big trouble…
