Surveillance cameras near the barricades of the Russian embassy in Australia on Thursday captured a rather unprecedented scene.

In a video tweeted by the Russian embassy, a kangaroo can be seen trying to get through the fences around the compound.

People on social media were quick to liken the scene to an “attempted invasion” of the kangaroo into the ultra-protected embassy.
“My God! What a terrible attack on the Russian embassy in Australia!” exclaimed one netizen.
According to the Spanish site EuroWeeklyNews, since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, the Russian embassies have had to live with special situations, as was the case with the embassy in Romania.
On April 6, a motorist intentionally drove into the fence of the Russian establishment.
