Romantic comedy with a dash of Hallmark suspense, sees the “reunion” between Teri Hatcher and James Denton, aka Susan and Mike from Desperate Housewives, who play Ethan and Joyce, respectively. Ethan Holt, a real estate manager, is married and the father of two teenagers. A disappointment awaits him on Christmas Eve: the man finds out that he won’t get a promotion because his superiors judge his way of doing business to be too correct. However, to relieve Ethan of his frustrations, there is the magic of Christmas, and his wish for another life comes true through magic. And he wakes up with a completely different world around him. He is no longer married to his wife Joyce, has two children and is number one in his company. If she wants her life back, she must prove to Joyce that he is the man of her life. But there’s only time until Christmas… “Life is made up of our choices” is the claim of this television film: The classic Christmas theme of another possible identity has produced great classics such as “It’s a Wonderful Life” by Frank Capra or “The Family Man” with Nicholas Cage.
