A-League superstar Nick Montgomery is putting his sprawling six-bedroom seaside resort on the market for $1.8 million after moving to Scotland

Former A-League superstar Nick Montgomery has put his sprawling stadium on the New South Wales central coast under the hammer.

The 41-year-old has listed the six-bedroom, three-bathroom coastal resort to be auctioned on November 11 with a guide price of $1.8 million.

Montgomery and his wife Josie bought the property in Bensville, 93 km from Sydney, in 2015 for $1,015,000 million.

The pair are being sold after Central Coast Mariners legend Montgomery took up a role as head coach of Scottish Premier League club Hibernian, The Daily Telegraph reports.

Located near Empire Bay, the beautiful, modern single-story home features a resort-style design.

Born in Leeds, England, Montgomery rose to prominence in the A-League after joining the Central Coast Mariners in 2012.

He led the Mariners to victory in that year’s A-League Grand Final in his second year as coach, with his side defeating Melbourne City 6-1.

The soccer star has 12-year-old twins Chloe and Leah and four-year-old Eva Mae with his wife Josie.
