It was claimed this week that Giovanni Pernice and Jowita Przystal’s romance is Strictly Come Dancing’s “worst kept secret”.
Jowita, 28, who won this year’s Glitterball trophy with TV star Hamza Yassin, was reportedly even caught kissing fellow dancer Giovanni, 32, backstage during filming.

Last week, for example, Giovanni – who won the series last year with Rose Ayling-Ellis – posted a snap of him lifting the Glitterball Trophy.
He wrote in the caption: “This indescribable feeling! Today @rose.ae and I hand over our crown of reigning champions to another incredible couple… and believe me when I say everyone deserves to win!

She wrote: “That’s it… you did it mate! We made it! We are in the finals of @bbcstrictly ❤️ and I couldn’t be prouder of you @hamzayassin90 ❤️ .

Polish beauty Jowita joined the Strictly cast last year and performed in group dances. She dated a celebrity for the first time this year.
Meanwhile, Italian Giovanni has been on the show since 2015.
A source told the publication: “She and Gio are the worst kept secret but they make a great couple.

“While both insisted they were single, the couple’s chemistry was ridiculous – and they were repeatedly caught making out in corridors. The crew even saw them kiss in the production office.

“Jowita in particular wanted to keep things calm so she could focus on Hamza and not distract from the competition.”
The insider added that Giovanni and Jowita went public with their romance at Gio’s pal Chelsea star Jorginho’s birthday dinner, where they openly flirted after keeping their romance a secret for weeks.

Jowita recently split from her longtime boyfriend, fellow dancer Michael Danilczuk.
Representatives from Jowita and Giovanni have been contacted by Web for comment.
Giovanni’s last relationship was with Love Island star Maura Higgins, who he split from in October last year – before dating Made In Chelsea star Verity Bowditch.
Giovanni has a number of other famous exes, including Ashley Roberts, Towie’s Jessica Wright, fellow dance pro Luba Mushtuk, 32, and former celebrity dance partner Georgia May Foote.
Jowita has not publicly commented on her separation from her fellow dancer Michael.
In 2020, he and Jowita catapulted themselves to success in the UK after winning the second season of BBC show The Greatest Dancer.
The two were coached by Oti Mabuse, a professional dancer who has performed on Strictly from 2015 to 2021 and has won the show twice.
According to their website, Jowita and Michael met at a dance summer camp in Kraków, Poland in 2013.

When Jowita was announced as the new Strictly Pro last year, Michael sent his then-girlfriend an exuberant message.
The caption read: “So excited to share everything with you guys my baby made her biggest dream come true. She is now one of the pro dancers at @bbcstrictly 2021. I’m super proud of you @jowitaprzystal. You are the hardest working person on this planet and I know you will be outstanding. I know how much this means to you.
“I love you with all my heart and I know everyone will see what I see in you! Time to smash it baby!’
However, the couple hasn’t posted together since March and no longer follows each other on Instagram.
