Ángela Molina stars in the French miniseries Daughters of Fire, a drama that explores one of the deadliest witch hunts in history. In 1609, Judge Pierre de Lancre ordered 80 suspected witches to be burned at the stake in the French Basque Country. Daughters of Fire tells that this persecution was actually a process of indoctrination, oppression and violence against women who deviated from the norm.
