A man startled customers at a Montreal mall on Thursday by walking around with a handsaw before being arrested by police.
Among other things, the 29-year-old man walked through the common area of the Domaine center on Granby Avenue with a hand saw about 12 inches in diameter.
Jean-Pierre Brabant, spokesman for the City of Montreal Police Department, said he tried to justify the fact that he had just bought it, but the gun was apparently not boxed or in a protective case.
