A man had the courage to eat 62 hot dogs in just 10 minutes for a challenge: Here’s how his body reacted

There is no more satisfying feeling than that you get after a hearty meal, as you lie down on the sofa and take a nap to regain the energy you used up eating. The problem is that this feeling shouldn’t be taken to the extreme like some people do. The internet is now teeming with challenges from people who feel guilty about eating too much to get for free. It’s some people’s new favorite sport, but it’s not good at all.

This time the big challenge is not in Italy, but abroad, where carbohydrates in their fattest form – pasta – do not exist, but abound in the form of bread, pizza and various sweets. The problem is that consuming excess fat during a challenge can have very serious consequences. The price such competition has on the human body is enormous. So the real question is, are you really willing to pay for it? Obviously Joey Chestnut is one. In fact, the man once managed to eat 62 hot dogs in just ten minutes, effectively setting the Guinness World Record. Just thinking about the 62 Frankfurt sandwiches makes me feel disgusted. But how did the man’s body react?

A man accepts an extreme challenge and eats 62 hot dogs: how his body reacts after this affront

Joey Chestnut told The Mirror about his experience and eating routine after the 62 hot dog challenge: “Almost all of us feel really bloated, heavy and tired after Christmas dinner. It feels a bit like that, only it’s really, really amplified.” The problem is that the pain isn’t just limited to the stomach, it’s affecting the whole body. The American continued to explain after competitions, at on which he’s stuffed himself on hot dogs (he’s not just done it once!): “The others tell me I smell like hot dogs. I really wash, but the sweat stays sticky and greasy for days. Loud.” I smell different to my girlfriend.”

Next, there is the inevitable need to get rid of the huge amounts of protein and carbohydrates that are consumed in very small amounts. “It seems obvious to me. If you eat a lot, you’re going to go to the bathroom a lot,” Joey said. “Since I know that I have to digest a lot of food very quickly, I try to make sure that it is easy to digest, but it remains an extreme challenge for the body, that’s natural,” the American continues.

Despite the price to be paid, Joey doesn’t want to give up the sport anytime soon and actually says, “As long as my body can do it, I can keep going for years. Among other things, I can’t wait for anyone to challenge myself. I love competition, it makes me come alive. Even if I ended up losing, it would be really hard to let go of this passion that I have.”
