The “MOANA” indoor water park project in Mirabel can be implemented after the City of Mirabel consulted the plans of entrepreneur Ray Junior Courtemanche.
The Laurentian real estate investor welcomed “exciting news” in January, confirming that the city of Mirabel’s approval was a step in the right direction to receive planning permission.
“The Ministries of Environment, Engineering, Urban Planning, City Councils and General Directorate have agreed that the MOANA water park is accepted and can be realized,” he said on his Instagram page.
The multimillion-dollar project will be built at Cité Mirabel on Highway 15.
Mr Courtemanche assures that the future water park will be equipped with “revolutionary technologies”, especially in terms of reducing water consumption.
“We have massively reduced water consumption and water discharge, which was very convincing to us and took into account the concerns of citizens and the population,” he continues.
“The project includes all buildings and structures for the parking lots as well as the air bridges that connect the central building of the water park with the two hotels and the parking lot.”
The real estate investor wants to start building the center in 2025.
