If the snow fell again on Saturday after a short break in mid-March, Quebecers can expect rain on Sunday, which will certainly melt the snow of the previous day.

This is particularly the case for residents of Montreal and neighboring regions. Temperatures will rise above freezing and reach up to 6 degrees in places.
In central and western Quebec, mostly snow mixes with rain, which turns to rain around noon. Here, too, the temperature remains positive throughout the day. However, the Capitale-Nationale and Chaudière-Appalaches will be the two regions where snow will prevail, so five to four inches of snow should fall there for at least the first part of the day.
Clouds will also produce slightly more snow than rain in eastern Quebec. Gaspésie and Bas-du-Fleuve could also be affected by accumulations of up to 10 cm. The same goes for Baie-Comeau, Sept-Îles and Forestville on the north coast.
The residents of Schefferville and Fermont will be under the clouds all day. Mercury in these regions is expected to fall below zero and reach as high as -3.
