Marisol Wentling, 19, was charged with vehicular assault after she flipped an SUV in Colorado Springs on Sunday, seriously injuring five passengers.
“The involved vehicle was doing donuts in the parking lot and five individuals were hanging out of the vehicle’s windows,” Colorado Springs police said in a news release.
When police arrived on scene, they found several teenage passengers seriously injured. They suffered life-threatening injuries and as of Tuesday, two were released and three remain in hospital in critical but stable condition.

The incident occurred just after 10:15 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of The Market at Spring Creek in southeast Colorado Springs.
A video that has since gone viral on social media shows the SUV reversing at high speed while hanging out of the windows and sunroof.
The car makes a sharp turn as it slides and overturns.
The two people on the right immediately crash to the ground, seemingly crushed by the full weight of the SUV, while the other three are thrown out of the windows.
The SUV then overturns completely before people run over to help those getting out.
As bystanders grab those trapped in the car, the video switches to a different angle and shows the floor of the car.
The lights flash on and off briefly as onlookers try to turn it over, but the man recording says, 'There's someone on the other side. 'Don't turn it over, don't turn it over!'

Then the car horn sounds as someone else says, “It’s leaking, it’s a leak.”
“Lift it, lift it, lift it,” another person says.
“Push it up,” says another.
Just before the video ends, someone in the background starts screaming loudly.
There was no update on the current conditions for passengers.
The El Paso County Jail told that Wentling was released on bail.
She is scheduled to appear in court for a counseling hearing on Dec. 28 and her initial appearance on Jan. 5, where she is expected to enter a plea.
Police said the incident remains under investigation and urged anyone with further information to come forward.
