Along with the works produced with various bands, as well as an endless series of collaborations with renowned artists, he has achieved immense success.
The artist was born on August 4, 1947 in Berlin, Germany. and he started playing since he was a boy when, after taking guitar lessons, he decided to change his instrument permanently, forever associating his name with the keyboards, making him one of the authentic ones pioneers of his kind. He got involved with electronics in 1970 when he released Electronic Meditation with the band Tangerine Dream, which immediately brought him some notoriety. So he decided to continue as a soloist and try to achieve even greater success if possible.
A few years later, in 1972, released his debut album “wisp”, and from that moment it was all downhill. A career gorgeous and very long in which he established himself as one of the most representative composers of the so-called “Krautrock”, the genre that fascinated an entire generation in the 1970s sonority can melt progressive and the new experimental electronics that were beginning to assert themselves, especially in Germany, with groups like Neu!, Can, Faust and Tangerine Dream. Unfortunately, we’re talking about them very good Klaus Schulze, one of the most brilliant and inspired musicians of the last century. He went last Tuesday, April 26th, at the end of a battle against an ugly evil. This was announced by the manager of his record company. In total it produced approx 40 albums, thanks to which he was considered by many to be the true founding father of techno. A very heavy loss he leaves behind an artistic legacy of immeasurable depth for the entire music world.
