SPAIN – The images are particularly spectacular. Filmed this week off Saona beach on the Spanish island of Formentera in the Balearic Islands, we see a 45-metre superyacht, the Aria SF, being ravaged by flames.
An Italian entrepreneur’s yacht, valued at around 25 million euros, is set to be one of the attractions at next month’s Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show, reports Le Parisien.

“The yacht’s seven crew members and nine passengers are all safe and sound. They were taken on board a ship belonging to the Civil Guard Maritime Service,” Spanish sea rescuers said on Twitter.
The boat, which burned for three hours, then had to be towed to the island of Ibiza. The origin of the fire is still unknown.
This yacht has accumulated luxurious superlatives: five suites with private bathrooms, swimming pool, spa, lounges, solariums, autonomy of more than 5,500 kilometers …
