Dave Grohl’s band announced on Wednesday morning the release of But Here We Are, their eleventh album but their first since drummer Taylor Hawkins’ tragic death in 2022.

To set the table, the group unveiled the first snippet, the song Rescued.

On their website, the Foo Fighters speak of a new chapter in the life of the group.

“This album marks the band’s return after a year of heartbreaking losses, soul searching and bittersweet memories. But Here We Are is a heartfelt and emotional response to all the foo fighters they’ve been going through lately, a demonstration of the healing power of music, friendship and family.”

The Foo Fighters will be at the Summerfest on July 8th.
