The Seattle Kraken prepared the same fate for defender Cale Fleury, who wore the CH jersey in the 2019-2020 season.
Another former Habs defenseman, Kale Clague, was placed on waivers by the Buffalo Sabers. Clague had played 25 games for the Habs in 2021-2022, recording three goals and two assists for five points. He played in 33 games for the Sabers last year.
