“A Place in the Sun” is the first soap opera produced entirely in Italy (and of course the longest-running) and is broadcast on Rai 3 since 1996. The soap opera is set in Posillipo, Naples and tells the story of Palladini Palaceis produced by Rai Fiction, FremantleMedia Italia and the Rai Production Center of Naples.
The soap opera was initially broadcast on Rai 3 in the early evening at 6.30 p.m. The soap was then moved onto the belt Prime time access which he still inhabits.
