Police raids in Vietnam on Wednesday uncovered a prostitution ring involving 30 women who worked as flight attendants.
Police raided a luxury hotel in southern Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City, according to The Sun.
Officers reportedly caught three flight attendants in bed with different men.
One woman, Vo Thi My Hanh, was arrested and remained in detention on suspicion of procuring.
She would have sent photos of women in uniform to lure customers. The 26-year-old is said to have been a flight attendant herself before leaving the company a few months ago to focus on customer acquisition.
Several women who prostituted themselves would therefore be his former colleagues. The alleged pimp allegedly targeted flight attendants and models to provide them with extra income during their layovers in Vietnam.
Vo Thi My Hanh reportedly charged the equivalent of CAD$1,200 for a 90-minute session with a woman and nearly CAD$3,400 for a full night. Police estimate that she would have made the equivalent of $56,000 in a few months.
The police are continuing their investigations.
