‘A real miracle’: Family of four survived 250ft fall in Tesla

A family of four survived a fall of more than 250 feet from a Tesla in California.

A 4-year-old girl, a 9-year-old boy and two adults got the fright of their lives when their car went off a cliff in northern California near Devil’s Slide, which is notorious for its deadly accidents.

The car, a Tesla sedan, fell off the cliff before landing on a pile of rocks. The Devil’s Slide, located about twenty kilometers from San Francisco, is the cause of several fatal accidents every year.

Authorities in the area don’t believe the Tesla was on autopilot. They still don’t know what caused the accident.

“We always go there to crash motorists and nobody survives. It’s a real miracle,” Brian Pottenger, a local firefighter, told CBS News.

According to CBS Bay Area, the adults suffered minor injuries; the two children escape unharmed.
