“Lizzie McGuire”, which aired from 2001 to 2004, became one of the best youth series of its time, thanks to the realism of its story, which told the personal and social problems of the protagonist, the addition of narrative and visualization resources to all for the outstanding performance by Hilary Duff.

Despite the end of the series, Hilary Duff became one of the actresses with the greatest projection and future in Hollywood due to her subsequent success. However, viewers' biggest wish was to see the kind and funny Lizzie McGuire back on the small screen one day.
Surprisingly, the above would come to fruition in recent years, before the much-heralded reboot of the series that would bring back Duff himself. However, when the show's cancellation was announced, many people's dream ended with numerous problems in development.
But new information recently revealed by people close to the production would clarify the real reason why Hilary Duff didn't return to the role that made her a bona fide star.
