Although hockey has become an instant hit in popularity in Las Vegas, especially thanks to the success of the Golden Knights, not everyone in Nevada seems to be familiar with the sport and its key players.
Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin can attest to this, as he endured a rather unpleasant episode on Tuesday upon arriving at T-Mobile Arena, where his team lost 3-2 in a shootout to the reigning Stanley Cup champions. Like everyone who has to enter the building, whether players, journalists or staff, the veteran had to meet with a security guard before entering the premises in order to prepare for the meeting.

However, the manager was reluctant to allow him entry despite his status as a professional hockey player. The man in question, who obviously did not know Seguin, therefore asked him to provide proof of identity. The player from before did this by showing him his cell phone, with a rather amusing smile that, however, betrayed a certain irony and annoyance.
Number 91 recorded an assist against the Knights.
