The victim was evacuated to hospital for non-life-threatening burns and was treated by the Red Cross.

The fire was quickly brought under control by the fire department and the residents were able to return to their homes, but this will not be the case for the sixty-year-old.

An investigator was dispatched to the scene to analyze the scene and attempt to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
