Police took the 36-year-old man back to Quebec to face justice. The latter had not complied with some conditions for his release in September 2022. He then fled Quebec.

Members of the SPVQ, working with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, have tracked him down in Saskatoon over the past few days.

The suspect appeared by phone in the Montreal Judicial District on Tuesday. He is currently in custody in Quebec and is due to appear in court again on Thursday. He faces charges of criminal harassment and breach of contract.
