In the sequence, during a game against the Kingston Frontenacs, the 18-year-old player attempted to avoid the player who came to check him out on the ice at center. He was thrown into the air and it was his head and neck that absorbed the shock with the ice. The stretcher quickly entered the TD Place ice rink to help him.
Rohrer was a third-round draft pick (75th overall) by the Habs in 2022.
The 18-year-old forward opened the scoring in that encounter by scoring his 12th goal of the season. He has 34 points in 27 games in 2022-23.
