Quebec’s Matthew Bergeron made a great first impression when he was christened Friday night at Mercedes-Benz Atlanta Stadium in Week 2 of the NFL preseason schedule in a 13-13 tie against the Cincinnati Bengals with the Atlanta Falcons.
Four points behind late in the game, Cincinnati opened the machine late in the fourth quarter. On a second down and the bases, Bengals running back Chase Brown made a four-yard run to put down the middle finger.

Atlanta didn’t give up, however, and kicker Younghoe Koo scored a 45-yard field goal in the final seconds of the match, leveling the game.
The Quebecer played the game at left-back. The Victoriavillois replaced veteran Matt Hennessy, who is hampered by a July 28 knee injury. This situation could be in Bergeron’s favour, as he could secure a spot on the starting line-up.
The Falcons’ rusher and first-round pick of the last draft, Bijan Robinson, excelled in the matchup, collecting 20 yards on four carries.
The Giants have the Panthers
The New York Giants got revenge for their poor performance last week by clinching a 21-19 win over the Carolina Panthers on Friday night at Metlife Stadium in New York.
Giants quarterback Daniel Jones did a great job in that duel, completing eight of his nine passes for 69 yards and registering a touchdown pass.
Panthers rookie center Bryce Young completed three of his six passes for a total of 35 yards.
