The Laval Rocket named the fourth captain in their history on Monday, and it was Quebecer Gabriel Bourque who was given the responsibility of leading the Montreal Canadiens’ farm club.
The 33-year-old striker will play his third season in Laval. He wore the ‘C’ on his jersey at the end of last season when Alex Belzile was recalled by the big club.
Gabriel Bourque officially named captain of the Rocket. His deputies will be Mitchell Stephens, Lucas Condotta and Tobie Paquette-Bisson.
