A very popular TV presenter in Colombia fainted during a live broadcast.

In the footage, which was shot on March 16 and has gone viral on social media, Elianis Garrido, 35, can be seen cupping his face with both hands before collapsing to the ground during his colleague’s intervention.

Several studio employees rushed to the woman to help her. Elianis Garrido was taken to the hospital after feeling unwell.
Minutes after the incident, the co-host attempted to calm viewers. He explained that his colleague suffered from “breathing problems”.

Maria Fernanda Romero, another host, said Elianis Garrido hadn’t felt very well for several days. Its condition is related to changes in climate. She suffered from a cough before losing consciousness.
According to local media, the 35-year-old is doing much better. However, she has not yet publicly commented on the incident.

“Thanks for all the calls, texts and wishes! I’m better!” she wrote on her Facebook page a few hours after the event. She said she was comforted to know her discomfort wasn’t related to a heart problem.
