“The power that Vladdy has is amazing!” agreed Arozarena, as quoted by Major League Baseball’s website.

In the final, Guerrero junior won 25 to 23.

“Some people think it’s easy, but working hard for three minutes takes a lot of energy,” Guerrero Jr. said.

The Blue Jays player’s triumph made him and his father, Vladimir Guerrero, of former Montreal Expos glory, the first father-son duo to win the circuit competition.

“To be honest, I don’t remember much from 2007,” responded Guerrero Jr., who was eight when his father took him to AT&T Park in San Francisco. I’m still very happy and very proud that my father and I won this competition.

And did the father advise his son?

“No advice,” Guerrero Jr. replied, laughing. You just have to hit home runs!”
