With the Colorado Avalanche, Jonathan Drouin finally found a new lease of life that allowed him to take part in a great 4-1 victory against a very special team for the Quebecers, the Tampa Bay Lightning.
It was the Bolts who gave the 28-year-old forward his first chance by selecting him third overall in the 2013 draft. A year later, Drouin made his National League debut with a promising rookie season.

The rest is history, as the left winger was unable to establish himself as a top player in his six seasons with the Montreal Canadiens. With the Avalanche alongside his former friend Nathan MacKinnon, he has now found his touch to some extent.
Although he didn’t score a point this time at Ball Arena, Drouin still saw his center Ryan Johansen score two goals. Inevitably, MacKinnon and Cale Makar also stood out with two points each.
Alexandar Georgiev did a great job in front of the Avalanche goal, blocking 40 pucks. Anthony Cirelli prevented the shutout in the second period. He was particularly supported by Nikita Kucherov, who leads the Bettman scoring with 36 points.
This season, Drouin has three goals and as many assists for six points in 19 games.
