A woman experienced one of the greatest traumas of her life when she woke up to find she was being accompanied by the world’s second deadliest snake wrapped in the sheets and the case went viral.

She lives in Queensland, Australia and told local media that she got up for work last Monday (20) but noticed a completely unwelcome presence in her room.

Realizing it was a snake, she quickly jumped out of bed, seriously risking being attacked. Fortunately, however, the Viper did not respond.

It was a brown snake that has a highly deadly venom, losing the rank of the most venomous on the planet only to the Australian Inland Taipan snake.

Still distraught, the woman called snake rescue specialist Zachery Richards. The specialist identified the species and stated that it could grow to an average of two meters in length.

The snake was released back into the wild and no one was hurt. The work took the opportunity at the time to emphasize that when a snake is found in an urban area, it is imperative that rescue is triggered, either the fire department or a specialist in the area.

It is worth noting that third place on the list of the world’s deadliest vipers is the rattlesnake, a member of the Jararaca family. Both are easy to find in Brazilian territory.
