A woman who lifted 425 pounds became a viral sensation because of the fun reactions of everyone else in the gym for the impressive achievement.
Sherein Abdelhadi, 25, from New Jerseyfilmed her first attempt to lift a huge weight last month and she decided to share the footage of TikTok – where it has since gone viral.
In the video, which has already been viewed more than 28 million times, Sherain, a physiotherapist who owns her own sportswear brand, can be seen lifting heavy weights as many of her gym colleagues watch in disbelief.
Many men even stopped their own workouts to watch in amazement as she lifted more than 400 pounds – heavier than a motorcycle, gorilla or four bags of cement.
Now the Internet can’t get enough of their reactions, which Sharein says is probably due to the fact that it’s “unusual” to see “a woman lift so much.”
She said lifting weights was “one of the most memorable moments”, adding that “she was really focused and didn’t realize that someone was watching” until then.
“It’s just not so common to see a woman lift so much weight every day in a commercial gym,” Sherain told Jam Press recently.

Sherein Abdelhadi, 25, filmed her first attempt to lift a huge weight earlier this month, and she decided to share the footage on TikTok – where she has since gone viral.
In the video, which has now been viewed more than 28 million times, Sharen, a physiotherapist, can be seen lifting heavy weights, while many people watched in disbelief.
Many men even stopped their own workouts to watch in amazement when she lifted more than £ 400 – heavier than a motorcycle, gorilla or four bags of cement.
After initially intending to calm down that day, Sherein was encouraged by her friends and decided to try deadlift.
She placed her phone on the floor to document her personal record, and her friends also recorded from different angles.
After completing it successfully, Sharen and her friends watched the footage and had fun when they noticed that almost everyone else in the gym was starring.
Sharein combined the two videos and shared them with his 317,000 followers, where the video quickly became a hit.
“Deadlift with 425 pounds is cool, but to see everyone’s reaction is cooler,” she wrote in TikTok.
She wrote: “There are a lot of emotions in this video.”
A man wearing a white T-shirt and hat appeared to be standing with his mouth wide open.
Another, wearing a gray shirt and black hat, stopped training and stood up so he could see better, while a third tried to look away, but failed.
Now the Internet can’t get enough of their reactions, which Sharein says is most likely due to the fact that it’s “unusual” to see “a woman lift so much.”
Nine men can be seen watching her, some moving to see better and others trying to look away but failing.
After completing it successfully, Sharen said she and her friends were looking back and having fun when they noticed that almost everyone else in the gym was starring.
“Some other people I didn’t know saw the elevator and got on and greeted me afterwards,” Sherain recalled in front of the outlet.
“My friend showed me the video she made from a different angle, which showed all their reactions, and we thought it was really fun.
“We tried to guess what was going on in their heads through the different facial expressions.
“The lift itself was one of the most memorable moments. I was really focused and didn’t realize that anyone was watching, except for my friends, who were all in front and applauding me.
“Whether the reactions were positive or negative, I promised myself long ago that I would never stifle my spark.

“I will never stop doing what makes me happy just because of someone else’s opinions or doubts.”

She added: “I’ve seen so many comments on the video of other women saying they want to start lifting or lifting weights, which makes me so happy!
“If I had to give any advice, I would say ignore all the voices that warn you not to become ‘too big’, ‘too strong’ or ‘too muscular’.
