An Amazon worker working in one of the company’s huge warehouses captured the moment he was trapped by automated robots lining the floor of a cavernous building.
A worker who was picking up a couple of things for a customer suddenly realized that his way back was blocked by huge moving yellow racks.
The worker pulled out his phone and decided to document his escape on TikTok.
User Robotman77 wrote: “Sometimes it can get crazy. These robots love to mess around.
“Robots at work trapped me. It seems to me that 15 minutes to get out, ”he added.

A quick peek inside reveals products waiting to be purchased by customers.
In a truly mesmerizing moment, as soon as a man turns onto one route, his path to freedom is blocked as another yellow shelf moves right in his path, forcing him to turn.
Viewers of the video were surprised to see a worker meet one of them, who called it “a real horror movie”.
Another said it was like the dystopian Maze Runner franchise.
It is not clear how long it took the worker to return to the main packing room.
But the clips give an amazing insight into the operation of one of Amazon’s massive 110 active fulfillment centers across the country, and 185 more around the world.
During his escape to freedom, he pointed out places of interest, including the place where the robots are charging.
The shelves are moved by robotic platforms that move along paths on the floor.
When the worker turned in one direction, he found his exit blocked.
